What is Rethiamine?

Rethiamine™ is a proprietary Panacea Bio Chem research formulation: 5 mg retatrutide and 20 mg thiamine—vitamin B1—presented as a dual-layer Peptourbillon™ inside the lyophilised chamber of Lyoprester SS™, with a separate 0.5 mL P-EARLs™ reconstitution chamber. Reta-B1™ and RetaBone™ are complementary identities for the same formulation.

Is Rethiamine an approved medicine?

No. Rethiamine is a research formulation under development. Retatrutide itself is investigational, and the formulation has not been approved as a medicinal product anywhere.

Does retatrutide deplete vitamin B1?

It has not been established that retatrutide directly consumes or chemically depletes thiamine. The concern under investigation is indirect: powerful appetite suppression, reduced dietary intake, gastrointestinal intolerance and rapid weight reduction may leave some individuals nutritionally vulnerable.

What is Lyoprester SS?

Lyoprester SS™ is Panacea’s protected single-shot platform with two principal chambers: a protected lyophilised formulation chamber holding the dual-layer cake, and a separate 0.5 mL P-EARLs™ reconstitution-liquid chamber. Activation happens only immediately before use, so the components are not stored as one ready-mixed liquid.

What is the dual-layer Peptourbillon?

Inside the lyophilised chamber, the retatrutide-containing peptidic liquid is introduced first and frozen as the lower layer; a separately prepared supercooled thiamine liquid is then positioned above it. The two layers are co-lyophilised in the same protected chamber while remaining spatially distinct — that layered structure is the dual-layer Peptourbillon™.

What is P-EARLs?

P-EARLs™ is the 0.5 mL reconstitution vehicle engineered specifically for this dual-layer formulation. Its scientific role is to reconcile or neutralise pH-, pI-, ionic-strength- and solubility-related conflicts during rapid reconstitution — an engineering objective under evaluation, supported by the analytical development programme.

Why 20 mg of thiamine?

The proposed 20 mg inclusion is a Panacea Bio Chem formulation-development strength. It is not presented as an established clinical requirement for individuals receiving retatrutide, and the precise pharmaceutical salt and thiamine-equivalent basis will be declared in the final analytical specification.

What are Reta-B1 and RetaBone?

Reta-B1™ is the technical identity of Rethiamine — the evidence hub for retatrutide-and-thiamine research. RetaBone™ is the metabolic and body-composition research identity. All three names describe the same proprietary Panacea Bio Chem formulation, not separate products.
